Best Summer Night-Life Activities in Teton Valley Idaho

It’s no secret that Teton Valley Idaho is jam-packed with daytime activities that will keep you busy the entire time you visit. But what happens after dinner, when the stars come out and it’s time to relax and have some fun? There’s plenty of nightlife here in the Valley as well, with something appropriate for all ages. If you’re visiting Driggs, Victor, Tetonia, or anywhere here on our side of the Tetons and looking for some fun nightlife activities, here are our Top 5 ideas to ensure you enjoy every minute visiting our valley.

#1: Teton Valley Rodeo

If you love all things Western, then you have to check out the Teton Valley Rodeo. Held every Friday night during the summer at the Teton Valley Fairgrounds, this is a classic family-fun rodeo featuring everything from barrel-racing and steer-wrestling to team roping and bull riding, and even some fun mutton-busting for the kids.

You can buy your tickets ahead of line on their website or pay as you enter. There are lots of food trucks where you can get a meal and/or treats, the seating is close so you can see the action no matter where you sit, and you can’t beat the view as the moon rises over the Tetons in the background as the cowboys and cowgirls show off their skills.

#2: Music on Main Concerts

If you love an open-air concert, then Thursday nights in Victor, Idaho is the place to be for “Music On Main.” Hosted by the Teton Valley Foundation, Music on Main is held right in the center of the city at the Main Street park and attracts huge crowds every week from June through August. Show up early, bring your lawn chairs, and settle in for a night featuring talented artists from all over the nation, a wide variety of food trucks, and local breweries and hard cider options too. Music on Main is one of the most popular events of the summer in Teton Valley and is not to be missed.

#3: Pierre’s Theatre

A historic building located in the heart of Victor, Pierre’s Theatre has alternately served as a playhouse and movie theater for more than 80 years. It first opened in 1941 as a 225-seat theatre before television became all the rage. Fast-forward to today, and after a brief closure during the pandemic, Pierre’s Theatre was revitalized when a new owner took over and soon began implementing their vision to bring Pierre’s back to life. This fun location is located in the center of town, walking distance from great restaurants and attractions, and a fun place to hang out for movies, community theatre plays plays, live music, special screenings, and other fun events. It’s even available to rent for special occasions, so if you’re planning a family reunion, wedding, or other special event with lots of people, this is a great idea for a fun activity.
