The Best Golf Courses in Teton Valley Idaho

If you’re looking for an unforgettable golf experience in a world-famous location, Teton Valley Idaho offers professional golf courses with Grand Teton views that take your breath away. Next time you plan a golf vacation in Idaho or Wyoming, be sure to check out what many people call the best golf courses in Idaho.

#1: Bronze Buffalo Championship Course at Teton Springs

A unique golf course located at the base of the Snake River range just outside Victor, ID. Teton Springs is an extremely active community with an 18-hole championship course and a 9-hole Nelson short course designed in collaboration with golf legend Byron Nelson, PGA Touring Pro and U.S. Open Champion Steve Jones, and renowned golf course architect Gary Stephenson. The course boasts some of Teton Valley's largest water features formed by the headwaters of the Teton River downstream.

Nationally recognized by numerous golf and leisure magazines, the resort’s courses were designed to complement the area’s natural terrain. Rolling fairways, well bunkered greens, and spring fed lakes teaming with native trout promise memorable rounds for all. The course features five dedicated tee markers measuring 5,500-7,500 yards in length, playable by golfers of all skill levels.

#2: Teton Reserve Golf Course

Designed by 3-time U.S. Open Champion Hale Irwin, Teton Reserve Golf Course has plenty to offer golfers of all abilities, and is one of the few in the nation that can actually be played (and enjoyed) in reverse. This 7426-yard, par 72 layout public course has spectacular mountain views all around, a fully stocked Pro Shop, and is surrounded by green valleys, majestic mountains, and an exclusive community of homes for an unforgettable experience. Conveniently located in between the towns of Victor and Driggs, Teton Reserve is close enough for a day of golf whether you’re staying in Teton Valley or Jackson, Wyoming. Check out their website for photos, videos, and a hole-by-hole preview.

#3: Tributary Golf Course

Featured in Golf Week and Golf Magazine as one of the outstanding courses in Idaho and the nation, Tributary Golf Course is a private 18-hole golf course that boasts approximately 1,350 acres of beautiful Teton Valley wetland. The course, designed by David Mclay-Kidd, boasts impressive fairways averaging 80 yards wide. The links-style course features greens that average 10,000 sqft, over 150 bunkers, and is abundant with wildlife including moose, deer, and fowl.

David McLay-Kidd has said that the golf course he designed for the Tributary community “could be the best work he’s ever done.” Designing it, he complemented the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape in an exciting and environmentally conscious way that offers a challenge to golfers. Ready to distract you at almost every shot are the Big Hole Mountains and the Tetons rising in the distance. Tributary’s 16th hole is particularly breathtaking; golfers tee off facing the Grand Teton.

#4: The Links at Teton Peaks

The Links is a 5-star 18-hole golf course located in Driggs, Idaho, designed by David Druzisky. Each hole was designed to fit into the landscape seamlessly, positioning each to take full advantage of the views of the Teton and Big Hole mountain ranges. The course is a links course complete with over 50 bunkers, including a few pot bunkers. One of the holes, number 16, has double fairways which is similar to how several links courses in Scotland and England are designed. Many plein air artists have been known to feature The Links in their artwork, and this public course is known as a fun but challenging course for all skill levels.
