Best Yoga in Teton Valley

While many people travel to Teton Valley for skiing, fishing, or to visit Grand Teton or Yellowstone National Park, there’s a new attraction drawing people here to the mountains – yoga! The annual Teton Yoga Festival, now entering its 2nd year, gained attention last year from around the country and the world, drawing people who shared a love for yoga to gather as a community to practice, learn, and grow together.

The festival shined a spotlight on Teton Valley, Idaho, and the many yoga resources we have, from private and/or public studios to non-profit co-ops, all offering a wide variety of yoga options for people who live or travel here. As the leading vacation rental company in Teton Valley, we know that having the option to care for body and mind while vacationing is a great way to elevate your experience. Some of the benefits of doing yoga when traveling have been proven to help with better sleep, boosted immunity, lower stress, and less chance of injuries from strenuous outdoor activities.

Teton Yoga Festival

The 2nd annual Teton Yoga Festival will be held this summer during Labor Day weekend, from August 30 to September 1, 2024. The 3-day festival will have multiple classes and workshops to choose from, as well as inspiring lectures, intimate talks, music and dance. The festival is intended to be an intimate retreat, with a mission to honor the true nature of yoga, which is union. Teachers, presenters, and vendors are selected with the intention to bring about a deep conscious experience of union with the planet, each other, and the source that connects all.

Onsite there will be a pop-up restaurant and food vendors, all sourced from local organic farms, as well as an outdoor healing sanctuary offering massage and other wellness services. Select market vendors will be selling goods and services that contribute to sustainability and quality of life.

Held at Moose Creek Ranch in Teton Valley, Idaho, the location features stunning views and access to unspoiled nature, situated perfectly between Grand Teton National Park, Targhee National Forest, and the Big Hole Mountains. If you are traveling to the area and want to incorporate other scenic attractions to your trip, the location for the festival is located one mile from the Wyoming border, 30 miles from Jackson Hole, and about 70 miles from Yellowstone National Park.
