Downtown Driggs Modern Marvel - Walkable!
Starting at $240
3 Beds | 1 Bedroom | 1 Bathroom
Description
Welcome to our "Grand Teton Cabin" one of two small luxury home in downtown Driggs. This home is the newest addition, a 1000 SqFt 1 bedroom masterpiece with additional sleeping loft. We wanted to offer an experience second to none in the Teton Valley with trendy finishes in the popular downtown area, great for walking to shops, bars and restaurants. It's 5 blocks to Main St, but just 1.5 blocks to Little Ave, a popular street with bistros, shops & one of Targhee's shuttle pick-up locations. An easy walk to the shops on Little Avenue, Forage Bistro, or the 5th Street Grand Targhee shuttle pick up, The Grand Teton Cabin is one of two "Teton Cabins" in downtown Driggs. With beds for 4 and a fold-out sofa for an additional 2, this overgrown tiny home features trendy furniture and and incredible finishes. Built with extraordinary quality and with do detail overlooked, the home features fashion inspired contemporary oak cabinets with granite counter tops, open vaulted ceilings, a hand made lighted staircase, and custom architectural and design elements throughout. The home was also built with comfort and energy in mind with a variety of features and creature comforts including ultra efficient heating and air conditioning, air ventilation system and special LED lighting. The cozy master suite features it's own slider door to the rear patio, separate air conditioning unit, queen size bed, and privacy shades. The thoughtfully designed bathroom offers warm heated floors for those Teton Valley winter nights, and a pocket door between the glass shower and vanity for larger groups needing extra morning space. The home is just as breathtaking and thoughtfully designed outdoors. Huge custom sliding doors open to a large pergola with cafe lighting, bbq grill and outdoor seating for 6. The massive yard boasts large mature trees and a perfectly manicured lawn. Whether you are traveling for a few nights in the Grand Tetons, or looking for an extended stay in the Teton Valley, this trendy spot is the perfect compliment to your unforgettable Grand Teton vacation. You will have full access to the home, it's built for guest accommodation. We don't leave any personal belongings, other than some maintenance items at the house. When we built the cabin, we were insistent on a downtown Driggs location, but building sites are scarce. We settled on a location about 1.5 blocks from Little Ave, and 5 blocks from Main St. It's a larger lot which allowed for ample space and lots of landscape. We put most of the windows to the interior of the lot, and planted some large Spruce trees to provide privacy to the nearest neighbor. Downtown Driggs is like a large neighborhood with a mix of older homes, and newer, modern, sometimes eclectic homes. Because it's not a "subdivision" you get a lot of diversity, which is what we love about the downtown area, along with walkability of course. We do ask for respect to the nearby neighbors in terms of quiet hours and friendliness. The home can accommodate 2 vehicles in the drive, we ask that street parking is temporary only as a City of Driggs requirement. The bedroom is private, and the bathroom has a pocket door to separate the vanity area and the shower/toilet as to help accommodate slightly larger groups. It does have a full size water heater. The loft is open, but does have a remote controlled shade that drops with for extra privacy. The kitchen is fully stocked, and towels & linens are provided. An information book with contact info is on-site. We will refund in full for any cancellations prior to 60 days before check in. If you cancel with 30 days of your check in date, we will charge $100. If you cancel within 30 days of your arrival date, you are only eligible to receive your cleaning fee back unless otherwise agreed upon.

Reviews
Tayson’s place was well put together. Everything was neat and extremely clean. It was very easy to find and easy to get inside. The house felt right at home!
Great spot!
Home was well maintained and had everything we needed. Close to stores and restaurants but too close to the neighbors, w Positive: The home provided everything we needed to cook and enjoy Negative: You definitely cannot tell how close the other houses are from the pictures. There’s a home right next door that had about 10 cars parked. And they are building a neighborhood in the backyard.
Very beautiful! Loved the heated bathroom floors! 10/10
Beautiful home, perfect location. House had everything you need for a comfortable stay.
We were in town to recreate and this place suited us well. The location in town was very convenient while being private.
The house was very clean and well-organized. A great vacation hub for a small family or small group of friends, and only 20 minutes from Grand Targhee. The hosts were responsive to our questions and check-in and check-out were seamless. Thanks!
Tayson's home was spotless and perfect for our stay. Driggs is a great little town and this property is conveniently located. I would definitely recommend Tayson's place if you are in the area.
We stayed here for 4 nights and had a wonderful time in this beautiful home. The kitchen is well stocked and made cooking meals easy, since there are not a lot of dining options in the area. There is an outdoor grill that we did not use. The views are amazing and the entire home is open and cheerful. No garage, but the driveway is super close to the front door. There is a loft bedroom with 2 twin beds, perfect for a family. Regular size washer and dryer. Updated bathroom with a great shower. The only negative would be the couch, not very comfortable for watching TV, also there could be some softer lighting in the living area. The ski resort is a 20 minute drive and if the weather was nicer you could walk into the town of Driggs. We really enjoyed our stay here.
Great Place, stayed here twice
It was nice and calm!
Very nice home and tastefully furnished. Really appreciated the radiant heated floor in the bath. Would definitely consider this home for our next visit to the Teton Valley!
Great small house in a neighborhood with close access to the main street in town
We have family in Driggs and visit often. This new and tastefully appointed cottage checks all the boxes. It's perfect for a family with 1 or 2 children. The cottage is on a large lot so you have privacy and quiet, unlike staying in the condos up the ski hill road. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
Awesome house in a natural calming Town.
perfect location between both parks and we loved the cute nearby towns!!
We loved this stay. It was very clean and we were able to easily eat out and cook in. Very close to the downtown area. It was close enough to the Tetons that we were able to make a day trip. Gorgeous place overall.
very nice home, heating/cooling very efficient, clean and tidy.
This AirBnB was in the perfect spot for us to visit the Tetons and Yellowstone multiple times during our stay. Driggs is a charming little town with great food and views. The house is clearly a new build, with lots of modern charm. The heated floors in the bathroom were heavenly.
A very nice home to rent for our vacation and visiting GTNP. We would definitely stay there again.
We had a great stay at Tayson's place! Had a great dinner at Tatanka Tavern too! We felt super safe in Driggs, it's a great little town if you're looking to escape to busyness and high prices of Jackson but still easy to pop over to Jackson and Teton!
This place was perfect for my husband and I to stay at while visiting the Tetons. The place was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Our favorite part was being able to grill out on the back patio for supper with the view of the mountains in the background! Definitely would recommend staying here!
What a wonderful place for me and my wife to spend the main part of our honeymoon road trip. The place was super clean and looked just like photos. Tayson was also very accommodating and responsive. The best part is is that the place is within driving distance of The Grand Tetons National Park and Yellowstone which we took full advantage of. The weather was also refreshingly cool (in the 30s at this time of year - late April) and was perfect throughout our stay. We even had a little magical snow storm on our final day which was awesome. I would fully recommend Taysom’s place for anyone coming to Driggs, ID for a relaxing nature adventure.
We were staying for a couple days and a storm moved in. Just in case we were to get snowed in Tayson was willing to work with us and was very kind. Definitely go again
Nice place with a convenient location, definitely a house worth booking again. Unfortunately the bedroom closet door was not closable and the water heater is located in that area. Occasionally when refilling and heating the water heater can be noisy, also the indicator lights on the water heater are quite bright when illuminated and lights up the bedroom when the room is dark. The only dresser in the bedroom is filled with linens so there is no where to put any of your cloths except on the floor unless you were to empty the dresser. The modern looking furniture is interesting but the couch, chair, and dining room table chairs are very uncomfortable. We had heavy snow a couple of days during our stay and the driveway was not plowed nor was the sidewalk shoveled, not a big deal since I don't mind shoveling but I guess I would have thought that these items would have been taken care of. The owner is very responsive when contacted and everything is exactly as pictured in the ad.
Tayson's place is located in the stunning Teton Valley. It is near many activities without being in the thick of it (e.g., Jackson). I was so happy to wake up in Driggs and return to Driggs at the end of my day.
My son and I had a great stay and plan to stay here again in the future.
Great spot within walking distance of downtown Driggs.
Great place just as it appears in photos. Spent a chill weekend in Tayson’s house. Roomy and comfortable. It snowed outside and made for a scenic and relaxing break from our long road trip. Easy access to town.
Great host, great house, great location. Answered questions super fast, very helpful.
this place is amazing!! stop looking, just book it!
Fabulous stay! We have stayed at several short term rentals in the valley and we are thinking this is our favorite. Great house, super comfortable, perfect location. We will be back!
The house was so clean modern and cozy. Super close to town but you have the best views in town. The Tetons are literally outside our kitchen window. We are going to schedule to return in Sept 2023.
The place was great overall. We found that while the proximity to Jackson is not incredibly far, it was farther than we anticipated and it made planning our trips out to the National parks more important since we couldn’t just run back to the home to grab stuff. As a couple that has some dietary allergies (GF/DF) Driggs didn’t have as much to offer us as we thought it would. The home was good and very well maintained and clean. The couch was a bit uncomfortable to sit on, so my wife and I just folded it down to the bed and laid on it each night while we watched TV and movies before heading off to bed and that made it more enjoyable to lounge in the living room. The exterior lights are on a timer and won’t come on at all with the light switches inside from 11pm-7am. This felt like a safety issue for me since we are visiting and I day with the area. It’s very dark at night, which is awesome for stargazing, but if you arrive home late or should anything unfortunate happen, you’ll be in the dark while going in or out of the house. If we come back to the Jackson Hole area, we will definitely consider staying here again as it was a good value for us for our first time to the area!
Perfect get away for a couple or small. We had plenty of room and gorgeous view of the nearby mountains. We would definitely visit again! Thank you
Tayson’s place was perfect for everything we needed. Space was exquisite, well designed, great kitchen and common space. Lots of light and great outdoor space. Well located to get to Jackson, Grand Tetons as well as local Targhee Resort. Driggs has much to offer as a small town - lots of great dining, hikes and all outdoor activities. Check in was easy, communication with Tayson prompt. Would definitely stay again.
We stayed at Tayson’s place for 4 nights. Everything was very clean and all instructions were clear and easy to follow. Located on a large lot with some of the nicest grass I’ve ever seen. Perfect location as a base camp for the daily journey over the pass to Jackson Hole, which we did for three consecutive days. We would definitely stay here again!
Absolutely loved this stay. The wife and I planned this as our first stop of our honeymoon and can’t say enough great things. The town is nice, the house has a sleek, modern appeal inside and out, and with the mountains visible from the back porch, it was all perfect. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for somewhere to stay just a short drive from the Tetons.
This was our second stay at Tayson's property in Driggs and it worked great for us again. Loved being able to easily walk downtown for dinner with multiple restaurant options, or a milkshake at the Corner Drug. Great location to basecamp for adventures in Wydaho!
We loved our time in Driggs and the chance to have a quiet place to stay as we hiked the area.
We had a great stay! We absolutely loved the house! Good location close by to restaurants and coffee shops, but still a nice view of the mountains in the distance. Would definitely stay here again if we are back in the area!
Great location excellent facility especially for the tech expert...very accessable caretaker. Hope Yellowstone is open when you get there but the Tetons were quite breath taking and easily acceptable from this location. Only regret is that we should have rented this place for the whole time we were in the area thus not wasting time in big Sky.
The place was very clean and easy to check-in. The heated floors in the bathroom were an added bonus. Loved my stay.
Great location, fun town to explore - great hiking nearby!
Husband and I stayed here for 5 days while we explored the Yellowstone/ Grand Teton areas. It’s a beautiful home equipped with everything we needed. Highly recommend. Driggs had all basic necessities including a well stocked grocery store with fresh produce, etc. One of the days only reached a high in the 40’s which, as a couple from California, we were very happy with the heaters/ heated bathroom floors. The washer/ dryer were perfect throughout the week. We didn’t need to pack as many clothes thanks to this and got away with only packing carry ons. It also rained/ snowed and we were always warm and happy. We ended up watching Lord of the Rings in the living room on the days we got rained/ snowed on since we didn’t want to deal with driving to the national parks in that weather. The sofa DOES turn into a bed. You have to remove the cushions and unfold it from the back like a subway sandwich. Every east facing window has a view, it was awesome to have a reminder that we were in Idaho. Everything was so well communicated through the app and in the guide at the house that we had no questions and didn’t need to contact anyone. Which is also the sad part because I like interacting with people. Regardless, everything was smooth from start to finish. Thanks for providing such a great space. 10/10 recommend.
Awesome place to stay if you are wanting to explore Jackson or the Tetons!! Place is even better than the pictures!
Tyson’s place was as nice as pictured. Very comfortable and clean, it was a convenient distance to stores and everything needed. Liked being close enough to Jackson and the Parks without the traffic or noise. A little haven.
