About this space Welcome to the Grand Teton Painted Pony House! Grand Teton Painted Pony (GTPP) is a brand new (2023) home with an uncompromised full four peak view of the Tetons. The home has the finest in luxury furnishings in a mountain lodge setting. You’ll truly feel like you’re in the mountains! GTPP boasts a 2,900 square foot accommodation including a mudroom, 2-car heated garage (winter) and all important air conditioning in summer. (temperatures can get above 90 degrees in the summer) The house features a great room which is the centerpiece of the home, with vaulted ceilings, exposed beams, a magnificent wood burning fireplace, and extraordinary chandeliers. The perfect place to unwind after a day in the mountains or skiing at Grand Targhee Resort. There is also a one of a kind bar area for mixing your favorite libations. The home is situated at the end of a cul-de-sac in the South Leigh Creek Ranch subdivision - right in the heart of the 4-Peak Teton view corridor. The location also looks directly at Grand Targhee Ski Resort and is located just 5 miles north from downtown Driggs. You can access ski hill road quickly via a back road shortcut to Grand Targhee in minutes. On top of the uncompromised views from both sides of the house, you have both the Teton and Big Hole mountain ranges. GTPP is also located in one of the sunniest spots in the north end of the Teton Valley and doesn’t get as much rain in summer or snow in winter. Sunrises and sunsets are magnificent from this location (see photos). If you’re looking for peace & quiet, you’ve found the right place. You do not hear any of the road noise of route 33 or the traffic of Driggs. This is in Tetonia - the quiet end of the valley. The house is beautifully appointed with 3 bedrooms and sleeps up to 6 guests. If you require additional space, there is also the LOFT GUESTHOUSE that is available at an additional charge which can bring total accommodations for up to 10 guests (depending on availability). The LOFT GUESTHOUSE contains 1 King Bedroom with Jack & Jill full bathroom, Bunk area with (2) Twin beds, living room, dining area and full kitchen. Contact the property manager for details. The HOUSE & LOFT GUESTHOUSE have a shared access to the mudroom and half of the garage (their own 2 car heated garage). Access to the HOUSE & LOFT GUESTHOUSE have separate locks and access control which secures your privacy and security. The house features an extensive covered back deck that looks east to the Tetons. A hot tub is conveniently located on the deck space and covered by the roofline. Also included in the backyard is a propane fire pit with Adirondack chairs for summertime enjoyment. ENTERTAINMENT & COMFORT GTPP features central air conditioning which can be critical in the summer months. Heated garage (excellent in winter! No cold car or snow to remove). Grand living room with central fireplace & plenty of seating. Smart TV for streaming your favorite subscription platform. Luxurious natural stone surfaces and wood accents. The cameras do not look into any interior spaces. 100% of the cleaning fee goes to our cleaners so they get fair compensation. We will refund in full for any cancellations prior to 14 days before check in. If you cancel with 7 days of your check in date, we will charge $100 and refund 50%. Additional insurance fee for stays over 29 nights will apply.
