Day 1: Grand Targhee Ski Resort
If you’re staying in Teton Valley, you definitely have to ski the ‘Ghee! Recently named as one of the Top 5 ski resorts in the West by Ski Magazine, Grand Targhee is well-known for its consistent snowfall, wide-open terrain, and breathtaking views. Skiers visiting the Ghee have access to more than 2,600 acres of exceptional terrain on the Western side of the Tetons, including 6 lifts, 2,270 vertical feet, and an average of 500+ inches of world-class Teton powder.
Expert skiers and a few Olympians have trained here, but there’s also plenty for beginners and families. The terrain off the Shoshone lift is ideal for sticking to green runs, and you can even buy a Shoshone-only ticket. The Kids Adventure Zone is perfect for little ones and “big kids,” with runs designed to improve skills like balance, linking turns, and keeping your eyes forward.
Morning
- Breakfast: Head to Rise Coffee where you can hang out and eat delicious breakfast sliders, quiches, and lots of pastries and treats along with your coffee, tea or matcha. If you’re in a hurry to hit the slopes, they also have to-go options such as breakfast burritos and bowls that will hit the spot. (Insider tip: If you follow their Instagram account, they have a secret link in their bio that allows you to order ahead on an app.)
- Grand Targhee is an easy drive from Driggs, or you can head across the street from Rise to catch the Grand Targhee Shuttle and enjoy the scenery while also getting to skip the hassle of parking at the top.
Afternoon & Evening
- Apres Ski is always fun at The Trap Bar & Grill, located just off the slopes so you don’t have to wait long to enjoy some yummy apps, drinks, and fun with friends.
- If you’re still hungry for a full dinner, head back to Driggs and hit one of these favorites:
- Teton Thai (Driggs): Amazing, authentic Thai food and a fun bar, too!
- King Sushi (Driggs): They have a great happy hour at the bar starting at 4 p.m.
- Big Hole BBQ (Victor): A classic and perfect for groups
- After dinner, head back to your vacation rental and relax around the fireplace inside or fire pit outside, enjoy the stars, and share your best memories created that day.
Day 2: Ski in Jackson Hole
Morning
Try out a new resort in Jackson, Wyoming at either the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort or Snow King - both only about a 45 minute drive away.
- Breakfast: Enjoy a sit-down breakfast at Butter in Victor, or if you’re in a hurry, they also have grab-and-go options. Butter can get busy (it’s very popular), so keep Victor Valley Market as your Plan B, where you can get breakfast burritos or sandwiches, or have the deli make you something custom.
Afternoon / Evening
If you’re skiing at JHMR, try out the Mangy Moose for your lunch or apres treats. If you head to Snow King, stop at Sidewinders in Jackson or at their Wilson location on the way home.
For a great dinner back in Driggs that evening, if you’re in the mood for Italian, nothing beats Pizzeria Alpino. Fresh made-in-house pasta, pizza, and seasonal Italian dishes will please everyone. For dessert, check out the rotating special cannoli’s, sorbets, GF almond cake – and the cheesecake is not to be missed!
Day 3: Other Winter Activities in Teton Valley
Morning
Take a break from downhill skiing and try out some snowshoeing or cross-country skiing to explore the valley today.
For breakfast, you can try out Pearl Street Bagels in Driggs (a Jackson favorite that opened a new location here earlier this year) or Provisions (also a local favorite).

Afternoon / Evening
Done exploring? Head to Driggs for some shopping at places like the Wardrobe, Galleria, and Fireweed Studios. If you work up an appetite, you can stop for a treat at Wydaho Roasters where they serve fresh pastries, fun drinks, and even made-on-the-premises ice creams and sorbets.
For dinner, head to Victor for Sergio’s Cantina. The newest hotspot for authentic Mexican cuisine, Sergio’s opened earlier this year and has already become a favorite with locals and travelers alike. With a fun bar, lots of seating, and delicious food, it’s a can’t miss.
